Wayne County NY Fire/EMS/Police Scanner Report

 Happy Saint Patrick's Day  4 days worth of call to be posted.  3/14/2024 : MVA, rt 21 and 104, Williamson. Resulted in a missing dog. Black and white border collie named Rosie. Still missing as of 3/17/2024 Newark Wegmans, call for burning smell from back room.  MVA, car/motorcycle- Arcadia Zurch Norris rd and Coleman rd.  Big boom reported to be heard by half the county going east.  3/15/2024 Palmyra FD had a call to Manchester for a fire.  Williamson EMS responded to a code 12 (deceased)  Macedon EMS responded to a husband and wife both fallen.  Rose FD responded to a MVA rt 104 and rt 414.  3/16/2024 Newark had a CO alarm and a code 12  Palmyra called for an outside fire twice.  Clyde responded to an outside fire.

 3/13/2024 Macedon had a code 12 this morning.  2 motorcycle MVA in the county. First in Williamson, then following in Arcadia.  Newark fire call to Wegmans, burning odor in back room. 

 3/12/2024 Many reports from members of a Big Boom that shook houses. Rose area and further out. 9 pm. 

 3/12/2024 Police chase starting on rt 104 to rt 38. Ended at rt 38 and Conquest rd. Chase called off due to high speeds and out of county. Suspect car kept going.  Domestic, male hit female, ran off on foot. EMS staged. Fire/EMS report:  2 car MVA, rt 31 in Macedon, before Verizon. 

 3/11/2024 Numerous tree and wire down calls throughout county due to high winds.  Palmyra, chimney fire. 4394 Hogback rd.  

 3/10/2024 Eastern Wayne, medic 83, Clyde FD to Old rt 31. 22 female, just gave birth. Clyde FD to 414 & Sprang rd. Vehicle in ditch. Under high wind watch until 2 pm 3/11/2024 

 3/9/2014  10 Edgett st, newark for dryer fire. 

 3/9/2024  Lyons FD to 43 Maple st. Caller says smoke in basement, no flames. Lyons FD/EMS to 7624 rt 31, the Brooklyn Honor, for CPR. Male. Backyard. Multiple power outages reported in county due to weather. 

  124 E Main st, Palmyra. Gas leak. 6460 Joy rd, CO detector alarm, Sodus  Structure fire, 8449 Ridge rd. Sodus.  4702 North Creek rd, possible structure fire. Palmyra. Control burn. Came in as a house fire.  Lyons FD to 11 N. Canal st for fire alarm

 From Palmyra FD  " Approximately 7:58 this morning on March 8 2024 Palmyra fire department was dispatched along with the automatic mutual aid department East palmyra fire department South Macedon fire department and Marion fire department for the report of a multifamily structure fire at 246 east main street in Palmyra. Upon arrival car 14-1 was updated from P.D no fire heavy smoke in the building. 14-1 established command once on seen with an update fire out checking for extensions . After investigation it was determined a pizza box was the cause of the fire . A team went into the structure to ventilate with an exhaust fan to clear out any smoke all departments were cleared and put in service at 8:48"

 3/8/2024 the county had two calls for Mercy Flight. AM call for Ped struck, rt 31 and high st, Clyde. Afternoon call in Clyde for ATV over in a field, person underneath. Cross streets Van Dyne Spoor and Seneca.
